Omnia Art Ltd. was previously known as Robert Holden Ltd. which was founded in the 1970s and was one of the first fine art agencies to exist in London. Alan Cowie, Charles FitzRoy, Sarah Lowther and Hannah Armstrong, all of whom worked for Robert Holden Ltd. for a combined total of nearly a century, continue to advise clients on the sale and management of their art.

As Omnia are not art dealers, they provide impartial advice and bring transparency to an often opaque art market. They also handle aspects of an art collection that do not pertain to a sale, such as loans, conservation, conditional exemptions, gifts, chattels rental negotiations and offers in lieu of tax.
