To accompany David Downton's new exhibition, Théâtre de la Mode: An Exhibition by David Downton, Gray M.C.A invites you to join David Downton and acclaimed fashion writer and historian, Tony Glenville, for an evening of discussion.

David Downton and Tony Glenville will explore the fascinating history behind the exhibition title Théâtre de la Mode, which originally made its début in 1945 at the Louvre in Paris, and the relationship between art and fashion through the influence and reach of artists such as Jean Cocteau, Elsa Schiaparelli, Salvador Dali, John Galliano, Pierre Le-Tan, René Gruau and of course David Downton himself.
