The New Craftsmen presents ‘Join, Assemble, Hold’; two adjoining crafted interiors, rich with works that invite the makers’ worlds and hands into our homes. In each room, a statement cabinet provides a focal point, expressing the physicality of the works and a feeling of connectivity in the space.

Drawing on a distinctive time in Korean craftsmanship, refined during the Joseon dynasty (est. 14c), this show presents works by contemporary practitioners, exploring the current return to Joseon’s contemplative aesthetic: featuring ceramics, furniture, textile, and woodwork, including the Moon Jar.
