Founded in New York in 1982, Stair Sainty Gallery is well established as specialists in 16th to early 20th century French and European painting. The gallery maintains long-term relationships built on trust and connoisseurship with both private and institutional clients.

In 2005 the Stair Sainty Mayfair gallery opened offering an exhibition programme alongside art acquisition and advisory services. They have exhibited at art fairs around the globe and have sold paintings and sculpture to more than 50 museums worldwide.
